Sunny Days

first week with Liz

Well it's been quite a while since i last wrote, you probably thought i fell off the face of this earth, well.....i didn't!! hehe...anyways i've been on break for the past 2 weeks - i have one more day off and then i head back to classes for term 2 - my friend Liz was here visiting for two weeks - the first day she got here we went into the city and i showed her the Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens, Darling Harbour and we just walked around and chatted -it was so great - we were both tired though after a long trip for her and me getting up early to go get her - tuesday and wednesday i still had classes so she came to class with me - i had leadership 2 - one course 2 days - it was quite good i might add and she quite enjoyed it herself - she said she felt she was here for a 2 day conference - then thursday we went into the city again and went to Bondi Beach and went shopping in Bondi Junction for most of the afternoon and then came home - friday i took the day off and went to the gym and read and stuff and her and franny went shopping and then we went to powerhouse and she loved it so that was cool - we met some people there and we all went out to McDonalds after which was fun getting to know new people - the one guy is quite the evangelist and i was learning alot from him and my passion for evangelism starting to stir within me and he said he has dvds etc for that and that i could go out evangelizing with him and his team sometime, when that will be i don't know, but hopefully soon then saturday we went back into the city, but we left later and we went to pancakes on the rocks for lunch and we shopped at the open markets and we walked on the harbour bridge and took pictures but it was really dark so mine didn't turn out really well so that sucks, but liz got some good ones - then sunday we went to church, it was liz's first church service at hillsong and then the aftenoon we just chilled and then went back to church at night which was fun - monday we left for Cairns and when we got there we hung out at the lagoon, which is a really big pool basically - the beach water sucked it was really muddy there because of the drought i'm guessing but anyways i will add more soon my connect group just got here gotta go
